Junya Watanabe is a Japanese designer whose career began at Comme des Garçons, mentored by Rei Kawakubo. His forward-thinking designs under the label Junya Watanabe Man are renowned for the use of modern synthetic fabrics.
The Filson x Watanabe Man Cruiser is made using heavy-duty 17-oz. polyester color-fast denim for the front and sleeves, and polyester oxford fabric for the back. Synthetic leather elbow patches provide protection from wear. The full-width back pocket and front cargo pockets are from our original 1914-patented Cruiser, designed for foresters.
